Community Programs

The Milton Fire Department is proud to be involved with many social and community events. Whether it is a information display, a pumper with full crew or Sparky the fire department mascot, the department is always eager to assist the community with the various non-profit events that are held throughout the year.

Car Seat Safety ProgramThe Fire Department inspects Car Seats by appointment only (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm).
Fire Extinguisher Traning ProgramThe Fire Department provides theory-based and hands-on portable fire extinguisher training.
Fire Safety PresentationsSeveral educational safety programs are available to you.
Seniors' Smoke Alarm ProgramSeniors' Smoke Alarm program is offered to reduce the frequency and severity of fires in senior citizens homes.

Community Event Request

All requests for community assistance/displays must be made to the Fire Public Education Division at least one month before the event. Requests will be treated on a first come, first served basis, manpower and weather permitting. All for-profit requests will be charged a nominal fee.
