Burn Permits now available

Posted on Friday April 26, 2019

Before roasting marshmallows in the backyard or sitting by the fire pit with family and friends this spring and summer, homeowners need to obtain a valid 2019 Burn Permit.

We’ve enhanced our website to streamline the application process, making it easier for residents to request permits online.  Burn Permits are also available in-person at Fire Station Headquarters, 610 Savoline Blvd., Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The cost of a permit is $50 and is valid for the calendar year. Permits will only be issued to property owners located in the Town of Milton. Tenants and contractors require written authorization from the property owner to obtain a permit.

Failure to obtain a permit before burning may result in charges being laid and fines exceeding $1,000
